Cricket Fun For Everyone!

The finals of the Maranatha Mixed Team Cricket Challenge was held on Wednesday, 29th July. The Mighty Mice faced off against the Furious Frogs. Teams were made up of learners from grade 4 - 7, both girls and boys. Each team bowled 10 overs and at the end of the nailbiting Mighty Mice innings, the teams ended on a tie! The match had to be decided by each team facing an eleventh over, in which Peter Venter's furious frogs finally triumphed by a single run! It was however a day in which the girl's talent really shone, with Kagiso and Nontsikelelo scoring most of the runs for their teams! Well done to everyone who participated!
